Entertainment Passports
CEBU, Philippines - Mobile phones sell like hotcakes this holiday season aside from the usual generic gift items. Sony Ericsson recently launched the trio handsets that compliment an entertainment junkie’s lifestyle. In one’s pursuit of fully-functional mobile capable of unlimited media sharing and home connectivity, take your pick:
KITA
For the gaming aficionados, Kita is the mobile ally. It is the first gaming phone with hands-free gaming and motion gaming all wrapped up into one. Sony Ericsson considers Kita as Wii in a mobile device. It easily detects body movements for gaming action by moving one’s body in front of the screen. One can go head to head with another Kita user for a tennis match. Isn’t that neat? Armed with a 5-megapixel camera with Face and Smile detection, Kita has nine preloaded games, five demo games and still can accommodate three more games upon downloading via the Sony Ericsson Entertainment Asia portal to tease the gaming buff in you.
AINO
To anyone who easily gets seduced with sleek “touch screens,” then Aino is it. This also comes with a keypad for faster navigation. The entertaining slider is a friend to Playstation 3 devotees since it is stocked with the Remote Play feature that allows the user to access and control his PSP media content using the built-in WiFi or 3G connections. With an 8-gigabyte microSD card, users can freely add a hefty number of games and multimedia files into the handset. When purchased, Aino comes with a Bluetooth handset and cradle.
SATIO
The top of the line, Satio highlights a full touch feature wherein a user can tap directly on the glossy 3.5-inch wide, ninth high definition n(HD) touchscreen. This is a shutterbug’s fling since it comes with a 12.1-megapixel camera with touch focus. So, take the movie house with you and experience a whole new level of movie marathon. Don’t forget the popcorn!
The trio is your entertainment passport to free exciting content downloads via the Entertainment Asia portal such as Sony Pictures blockbuster films, Sony Music songs and music videos, and Gameloft games. When purchasing any of the three handsets, one gets a free raffle coupon for a chance to win an exclusive trip to the 2010 FIFA World Cup for two in South Africa, as well as 20 percent discount coupons from Magnavision and 15 percent discount coupons from Sony Music. To top it all, when you purchase any of these three mobile phones, you immediately contribute to Sony Ericsson’s special project with UNICEF and SM Supermalls dubbed as “I-Share Ang Saya” that supports the Mobile Education and Child Protection Program for Street Children. Enclosed in the phone kit is a notice indicating you’ve helped in the campaign. Aino, Kita and Satio are available nationwide in all SE Experience shops and authorized dealers. — Jen F. Vega
