Another showbiz celeb falls victim to car thieves

Bayani Agbayani is the latest showbiz celeb to be victimized by car thieves.

Last week, Bayani attended a birthday party of a Japanese friend at a restaurant on Roxas Boulevard, near the Department of Foreign Affairs. His driver parked the BMW and stayed behind.

Later he followed the actor to the restaurant.

After 20 minutes, Bayani and his driver left the restaurant. To his consternation, he found the back window of the car smashed. Gone were the two bags in the back seat which contain 400 Euros, 2 checkbooks, passport and several other valuables.

Is Sam Lutfi the puppet master who controls Britney Spears?

According to the troubled pop star’s mother, Lynne, the 33-year-old Lutfi is a dark, powerful figure in Britney’s life who has kept her a virtual hostage in her home, who provides her with drugs and controls her finances.

Lutfi also decides who sees the actress, and arranges her photo shoots with the paparazzi, the mother said in an affidavit she submitted to a Los Angeles court. Based on her declaration, the court ordered Lutfi out of Britney’s house and barred him from seeing her.

According to Lynne, Lutfi moved into Britney’s home last October and “has purported to take control of her life, home and finances.”

The mother also claimed that Lutfi told her: “If you try to get rid of me, she’ll (Britney) be dead and I’ll piss on her grave.”

I think Lutfi fits the description of a Svengali, one who has taken complete hold of another person, a slave master. Could he be the reason behind Britney’s erratic behavior?

She’s now confined in a hospital for psychiatric tests. Last month she threw a tantrum, refusing to hand her two boys back over to their father, her ex, Kevin Federline.

For the meantime, a judge has put Britney’s father in control of her personal and financial affairs.

The Spice Girls have cut short their reunion tour and apologized to their fans. The much publicized tour was supposed to take the Girl Power gang to China, South Africa, Australia and Argentina.

Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria, however, denied that bickering forced them to change their plan. They pointed instead to “family and personal commit-ments” as the reason. “Our kids need to go back to school and we always said our families are our priorities. Sorry we haven’t got to see everybody,” said Victoria, who is married to soccer superstar David Beckham.

Mel C had this to say: “There has been a lot of rubbish in the media over the last few days so we wanted you to hear it from the horse’s mouth. We’re very sorry not to be able to get to all the places we wanted to.”

Oh well, so much for reunions.
