Thai tire manufacturer sees bullish prospects in PHL
CEBU, Philippines - The growing number of vehicle owners demanding for high-quality yet affordable tire products prompted Thailand-based tire manufacturer to enter the Philippine market, specifically Cebu.
Through the Philippine-based exclusive distributor Material Enhancement Asia Inc. (MEAI) this popular tire brand sees the potential to grow in the Philippines, regardless of the perceived economic constraints of consumers.
Introduced five years ago in Thailand, the Material Enhancement Asia, decided to open a dedicated showroom at A.C. Cortes Avenue. Hi-way Mandaue City, in partnership with car dealer firms, such as Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Tri-J, among others.
“I believe the market in Cebu is up to acquiring high quality tires, that are pocket-friendly,” said Gerry B. Rodriguez MEAI general manager.
Besides, Rodriguez said Cebu’s “smart-market” would always prefer to buy the highest-quality that offers value for their money.
The self-sealing safety tire, employing the “never goes flat” technology gives private vehicle owners convenience, as getting services from vulcanizing shops will be minimized or totally avoided.
“The tire consumer market in the Philippines and Cebu are leveling up, in terms of their choices,” said Rodriguez.
Availability of this tire brand can also be source in any of its above mentioned partners, he added.
Finixx New Technology Co., Ltd., based in Thailand, is established by scientists from cooperation of Swedish, American and Chinese scientists who specialize in Nanotechnology and Polymer Materials.
The company’s plant in Thailand, which commission as the ASEAN Technological Research and Development Center (ATRC), provides fully operated manufacturing lines of several innovative and body protected products in 50,000 square-meter of operating spaces.
Its initial business plan is to manufacture 300,000 units of self-sealed leakage and bullet proof tires, 1 million square-meter of nano-signal locker; 500,000 square-meter of bullet proof plate and 2 million units of mobile phone jammer used by vehicles. (FREEMAN)
