Walang Pasok: Class suspensions for July 11 due to Typhoon Inday, habagat

MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units have suspended classes for Saturday, July 11, due to inclement weather brought by Typhoon Inday (international name: Bavi) and the enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat.

As of 5 a.m. Saturday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Inday was approaching the Sakishima Islands in southern Japan and was nearing its exit from the Philippine Area of Responsibility, with Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 now limited to Itbayat in Batanes.

• City of Manila – No face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private
• Malabon City – No face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private

  • City of Dasmariñas – All levels, public and private
  • General Mariano Alvarez – Open High School Program (OHSP) at the tertiary level; alternative delivery mode to be implemented

  • Naic – All levels, public and private
  • Tanza – All levels, public and private
  • Ternate – All levels, public and private
  • Trece Martires City – No face-to-face classes; shift to online learning activities, all levels, public and private
• Laguna – All levels, public and private
