Memory enhancement seminar set
MANILA, Philippines - The ultimate silent disease in the elderly is the non-optimal functioning of the brain or memory loss. Memory loss that disrupts daily life may be a symptom of Alzheimer’s or another dementia. Alzheimer’s is a brain disease that causes a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning skills.
Early signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s are poor judgement and decision-making, inability to manage a budget, losing track of data, difficulty having a conversation and misplacing things, and being unable to retrace steps to find them.
To prevent this alarming disease, Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program (GTSDP), a leader in conducting quality livelihood and training seminars in the country, is conducting a whole-day seminar at the College of Social Work and Community Development building, University of the Philippines-Diliman in Quezon City on Aug. 18.
World-class memory athlete Christopher Carandang and medical experts will discuss and find solutions on how to get more information and file them creatively and systematically in the mental databank.
