Mikael Daez runs for health

MANILA, Philippines -  Actor-model Mikael Daez (photo) is always up for any challenge, especially when it comes to a health boost. Just recently, he flew to the fine sands of Boracay to participate in the Skyathon 2013, an annual beach run sponsored by Centrum Multivitamins, which Daez currently endorses. The Kapuso star dashed the clear water island in a five-kilometer run together with active runners, and co-hosted an after-run event targeted at health-conscious travelers. Now on its fourth year, the Skyathon Run will donate some of its proceeds to the clean-up programs of the Boracay Foundation Inc., a local organization composed of leading establishments on the island, to sustain Boracay’s environmental and social needs.
