Siemens joins eng'g expo

MANILA, Philippines - Siemens Inc. Philippines, a global electrical engineering conglomerate and leading provider of environmental technologies, joined the 36th Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers’ annual national convention, the country’s biggest industrial engineering expo held recently at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

The four-day event gathered engineering practitioners in the manufacturing, construction and power industries.

Bannering the theme “Economic Development through Clean and Affordable Energy,” the IIEE convention comprised a series of technical seminars and workshops, and trade exhibits which provided updates and insights on the fast-changing technological trends and issues that define today’s industrial market.

Represented by three of its four sectors — Industry, Infrastructure and Cities, and Energy — Siemens showcased its energy-efficient solutions tailored to the needs of local players in various industries.

With its wide array of environment-friendly and energy-efficient innovations, Siemens helps to create a stable energy supply while protecting the climate and environment. 

The IIEE convention, which Siemens has been supporting for more than a decade, serves as an excellent venue to exhibit Siemens’ environmental portfolio.
