Market! in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City recently.

The entire event was filled with lots of excitement and surprises, with guest celebrities who provided top-notch entertainment.

The GMA Go Girls moved, grooved and danced to their hearts’ delight via a fitness dance routine to the tune of the Diabetasol jingle, together with dance diva Regine Tolentino. The morning session was hosted by Ceska Litton of SNN.

As the day progressed, there were also educational talks and before the morning session ended, Suzette Wycoco, brand manager, shared more about the benefits of taking Diabetasol for breakfast and snacks, emphasizing what Diabetasol can offer to all diabetic consumers.

The Medical Nutrition Therapy Talk was given by the immediate past vice president of the Nutritionist Dietitians’ Association of the Philippines (NDAP) and a multi - awarded director of the NDAP-DOH Healthy Eating Certification Program, Felicidad Velandria, RND.

The afternoon session was just as exhilarating as the morning activities, which was a frenzy of sorts as event attendees numbering to more than 4,000 availed themselves of the Healthcheck station services and fun-filled activities of brand partners.

The afternoon was further warmed up by a demo on the Zumba, the latest and biggest dance/exercise craze in the world today which combines Latin and international music. This was followed by an electrifying hip-hop routine from the Velasco Brothers. By mid-afternoon, it was all about treating the audience to healthy gastronomic delights, courtesy of a cooking demo by Chef Tristan Encarnacion with the witty hosting of media personality Winnie Cordero keeping the crowd alive with her famous antics.

One of the event’s major highlights was a Culinary School Cook-Off, a cooking competition participated in by students from some of the country’s top culinary schools.

Nicole Hyala, celebrity DJ from Love Radio 90.7, took the late afternoon hosting helm and charmed the crowd with her sharp and clever antics. Later, it was singer Frenchie Dy who wowed the crowd.

Amid all the frenzied fun and excitement, guests were treated to various activities such as free health checks, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) screenings and massage therapy. Free t-shirts were also given away to all registrants who exceeded the expected 1,000. Some 80 participants won various prizes during the raffle segments held within the day.
