Brain, spine tumor symposium slated

MANILA, Philippines - To provide a venue for different neurology specialists to convene and share with their fellows updated knowledge, ideas and techniques on neuro-oncology, the Cardinal Santos Brain and Spine Tumor Center will be conduct its second Brain and Spine Multidisciplinary Symposium on Sept. 17-18 at the Marriot Hotel Manila in Pasay City.

Subjects that will be discussed in the symposium include Detecting Metastases with Whole Body Imaging; Image-Guided Neurosurgery; Gamma Knife Radiosurgery; Craniopharyngioma; Neuropathy of Meningiomas; CNS Germ Cell Tumors; Central Neurocytoma; Spine Metastasis; Seizures Related to Brain Tumors; Anaplastic Glioma; Salvage Therapies for Recurrent Glioblastoma; Neurologic Complications of Cancer Management; Pain Management and Palliative Care; and Teaching the Family to Cope.

This event will be for the benefit of the Philippine Alliance for Brain and Spine Tumors Inc.
