ImmunoCAP launched at Mary Mediatrix

The Mary Mediatrix Medical Center (MMMC) in Lipa City recently forged a partnership with Trianon Diagnostics, exclusive distributor of the ImmunoCAP system in the Philippines, in providing excellent and efficient allergy and autoimmunity testing and detection, alongside the hospital’s many world-class services.

The installation of the new ImmunoCAP system is an added innovative service of MMMC.

As MMMC celebrates its golden year of committed service, the new device will provide several benefits to many Lipeños as this world’s leading in-vitro allergy testing diagnostic device will help them prevent allergy and allergy-related diseases such as allergic rhinitis and asthma.

ImmunoCAP is the first allergy-testing device that received an approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration for providing quantitative measurement of Immunoglobulin E (IgE).

A recent study published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology revealed that ImmunoCAP is the standard for accurate and reliable quantitative IgE test.

This device was developed by Phadia AB in Uppsala, Sweden, the world leader in in-vitro IgE diagnostic research and product development.
