To provide doctors and other health professionals with the latest knowledge in caring for patients with the use of these technologies, the St. Luke’s Heart Institute will hold a postgraduate course on ECG, stress test and nuclear imaging on Nov. 9-10 at 2/F, Conference Room, St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Topics to be discussed include Chamber Enlargement, AV Blocks, Basic Electrophysiologic Concepts of Exercise, Exercise ECG: Its Value for Predicting Cardiovascular Risk, Abnormal Stress Testing: Beyond ST Segment, and Basic Principles, Indications, Contraindications of Nuclear Testing.
Among other equally expert physicians, the course speakers include St. Luke’s Heart Institute director emeritus Dr. Homobono Calleja, ECG and Holter Laboratory Department head Dr. Juliana Tamayo, and Nuclear Cardiology Section chief Dr. Edward Benjie Magsombol.
