Atlas Copco’s Philippines Compressor Technique (CT) operations have shown significant gains in the past months. CT is one of the four business areas of ATLAS Copco.
Compressor Technique concentrates on meeting customer needs in the areas of compression and treatment of air and gases.
This business area develops, manufactures, and markets industrial, stationary, and portable compressors, generators, air dryers, aftercoolers, filters, some gas and process compressors and expanders. It also offers specialty industrial rentals.
As of Oct. 31 this year, numbers have shown a significant increase in orders invoiced of 15 percent.
Jonnie Regis, general manager of Atlas Copco-Phils., said, "If you compare it with the same period last year, the company’s earnings increased by 40 percent."
Regis credited the upsurge to their aggressive marketing campaign complimented by the superb after-market support the company offers to customers.
"We’ve started the improvements in our support team and our marketing strategies during the first quarter of this year," he said.
The company recently began branching out to other areas in the country, setting up offices in the Visayas and Mindanao and in Northern and Central Luzon.
