‘Schlerology’ course up for iridology practitioners

Iridology or iris analysis is an assessment tool used to determine the genetic predisposition of the organs and constitution of the body. It originated in Germany by Dr. Ignatz Von Peczely in the 18th century.

"The science of iridology has evolved over time and more scientific validations have been called and prepared," said Dr. Elizabeth Micaller, ND., Ph.D., the only Filipino and Asian at that to be a certified comprehensive instructor II.

Having pioneered iridology in the Philippines, she is now offering a comprehensive iridology course to give practitioners fresh insights and guidelines on iridology examination.

Micaller, a board member of the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Healthcare, intends to professionalize the ranks of iridology practitioners.

In Manila, all iridology practitioners are invited to take up the "Schlerology Course" on July 18-21 (tel. nos. 724-1093 to 94).

Schlerology was pioneered by Dr. Stuart Wheelright. He learned it from the Native Americans in 1950. It probably started in China in 1046 AD.

Schlerology is the study of the white of the eye. It is an adjunct tool in the analysis of the eye to determine current body stresses.
