The Parkinsons Support Group of the Philippines (PSGP) Foundation will hold a meeting on May 13 at 12 noon at the 14th floor auditorium of the Cathedral Heights Building Complex (CHBC) South Tower of St. Lukes Medical Center.

Founded in 1999, the PSGP is a registered non-profit organization that aims to provide support to families and patients with Parkinsons disease, parkinsonism, tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders. Its founding chairman was the late former Vice President Emmanuel Pelaez.
For the current meeting, the medicinal properties of virgin coconut oil will be discussed by Dr. Conrado Dayrit, a multi-awarded physician and scientist who did the pioneering work on virgin coconut oil in the Philippines. An open forum follows the lecture.
For more information, interested parties can contact the PSGP at (02) 631-1531 or the Movement Disorders Center of St. Lukes at (02) 727-5552.
