Unilab pays tribute to Pinoy male

The essence of the Filipino male was the focus of a celebration when pharmaceutical giant Unilab, through its marketing division, Biomedis, paid special tribute to the Filipino male at the grand launch of its newest product for men, sildenafil, at the jam-packed NBC Tent at The Fort.

It was a big event which certainly aroused the curiosity of the male-dominated crowd as Unilab dressed up the venue with elegant ambiance, spectacular show, great food and fine wines catered by no less than the Mandarin Oriental Manila.

The venue, renamed The Men’s Lounge, was an impressive study of class and superior quality.

Over 900 distinguished doctors attended the launch, which featured three of the country’s macho celebrities – men on top like the ageless, debonair Eddie Garcia, the man behind the rise of top artists like Regine Velasquez, Ronnie Henares, and multi-talented actor, director and producer and model father Albert Martinez.

The country’s foremost authority on sex and relationships, Dr. Margie Holmes, also delivered an engaging description of what being a man on top means.

Unilab paid tribute to the distinguished men of the Philippine Urological Association, Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, Philippine College of Physicians (PCP), Philippine College of Surgeons, and Philippine Society for the Study of the Aging Male, which stood as Unilab’s solid partners in allowing more men to be on the rise.

Unilab chairwoman Jocelyn Campos-Hess and Unilab’s men – vice chairman Clinton Hess, president and CEO Carlos Ejercito, corporate vice president Sonnie Co, SVP for research and development Dr. Kennie Dee, division vice president for medical affairs Dr. Alex Tuazon, and Biomedis VP-general manager Dr. Eugene Ramos – set the stage on a lively mood with a celebratory toast for sildenafil, Unilab’s answer to low erection quality.
