Dedicated to help parents understand the complex and challenging needs of children, the July issue of the Health & Lifestyle (H&L) magazine focuses on children’s health and practical tips on child care.
This month’s topics range from antibiotics, vaccines for kids, Down syndrome, childhood diabetes to obesity.
H&L’s July issue marks the second appearance of actress and TV host Janice de Belen on the magazine. This time, she is joined by her children as she shares the joys, the challenges and fulfillment of raising them while having a flourishing career.
Aside from these articles, the magazine is also packed with the latest news and trends in medicine and in the healthcare industry.
Health & Lifestyle is available at National Bookstores and magazine outlets nationwide. For subscription, call 892-0723 to 24, 812-8696 or 816-4801.
Meanwhile, in order to promote healthy and enjoyable lifestyle as a way of life, Friendly Alliances and Media Expressions Inc. (FAME), publisher of Health & Lifestyle, is sponsoring "Celebrate Life!" first of a series of expositions on Aug. 22-28 at several SM branches in Metro Manila.
The expo is one way of educating people on preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle and effective self-care medications. It will be a gathering of companies which offer beauty, healthcare and fitness products and services.
Among the highlights of the event will be exhibits of healthcare products, equipment and services which focus on hygiene, fitness, healthy diet, child care, sexual health, cosmetic and perfume.
There will be free demonstrations and free samples will be given away during the simultaneous expos in several designated SM malls.
Shoppers will also be treated to other freebies. The organizers aim to make the event a learning and enjoyable experience both for the exhibitors and the shoppers who will drop by the expos at SM North EDSA, Fairview, Megamall and Southmall.
Booth spaces are still available. Interested parties may call 892-0723 to 24, 812-8696 or 816-4801; look for Chielyn Von Possel or Val Petines.
