WG&A supports ‘Sail on Science’

-
In line with its community relations activities, WG&A Phils. has pledged its support for the Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) "Sail on Science" program that creates a favorable atmosphere for the development of science and technology (S&T) consciousness across the country.

The DOST program aims to broaden S&T promotion activities for better visibility of programs, projects and services. Together with the Philippine Science Journalists Association Inc. (PSciJourn), it also aims to contribute in the development of a science-oriented citizenry.

For its part, WG&A wants to empower its clients through access to S&T services and development opportunities. It is also expected to provide the venue and facilities for the administration of the project.

A ceremonial signing of the program’s memorandum of agreement among DOST, WG&A and PSciJourn took place aboard WG&A’s SuperFerry 14 vessel. Science and Technology Secretary Estrella Alabastro, WG&A Phils. president and CEO Endika Aboitiz and PSciJourn officer Angelo Palmones led the MOA signing.
