2nd Health & Organics Show

A seminar series on serious diseases and deficiencies will be one of the highlights of the 2nd Health and Organics Show on Nov. 3-5 at the SM Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall.

Dr. Ramon Severino, oncologist of the Tumor Clinic at the East Avenue Medical Clinic, will talk about how prevention and early detection remain the more important and effective way of combating cancer in the seminar module "Cancer: The Dreaded Disease and How to Counter-Attack."

Speaking about the different treatments and methods of preventing Hepatitis A, B, C, D, C and G is Dr. Luis Gatmaitan, a diplomate of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians.

Facing the realities of menopause and the changes associated with this special stage in a woman’s life will be the topic of the seminar on "Harmoniously Living with Hormonal Imbalances" to be handled by Dr. Joselito Sinchioco, a diplomate of the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and a past president of the Makati Medical Society.

Another significant topic is "Osteoporosis" and how to prevent bone breakdown which is four times more likely to develop in post-menopausal women. Tackling this topic is Dr. Jane Pauig-Tuquero, an OB-gynecologist from the Makati Medical Society.
