New unit owner raves about the beauty of the Beacon

MANILA, Philippines - Coming from a family of artists and an expert in his own right, Arnel Coching has lofty criterion towards aesthetics. This is evident in his choice of models for his modeling agency and even when it comes to properties.

So when an agent from The Beacon in Makati approached Arnel and his wife Concepcion, he challenged the broker to look for a corner unit at the 6th or 7th floor facing the pool area. “Sol (the sales agent) returned to us within a few days to report that she found one that fits our requirement,” Concepcion laughs.

Arnel abides by the belief if it’s meant to be, then it will be. The broker’s immediate response to their query served as a sign that the unit is theirs for the taking. “If it’s for me, then it’s for me,” reiterates Arnel.

Satisfied with the pleasing visual experience afforded by their investment, Arnel can’t help but say, “It looks cool. It’s cute,” during the unit turn-over.

Makati living made affordable

The couple, who owns Discovery Modeling Agency, has been in business for 22 years. Their office is just beside The Beacon so their studio unit will serve as haven during breaks in their hectic schedule. “We are not getting any younger,” Concepcion jokes. “We need more time to rest and having a place near our workplace is just what we need.”

Arnel added The Beacon’s 450-square meter resort-style lap pool won him over. Apart from the soothing, gorgeous vista that it promises to provide, its size will enable him to train and improve his swim time for future competitions. Arnel is a triathlete and having access to a pool beats having to use public pools for training.

Concepcion, on the other hand, raves about the affordability of owning a unit. “Considering that it’s located in one of the busiest districts in Makati, our amortization is very competitive,” she enthuses. “It’s affordable for a Makati location. The opportunity to purchase a unit is not limited to high-end buyers but to others as well.”

She added, “It’s a great investment. When we retire from work, we could have it rented,”
