In this light, Community Innovations Verdana Homes Mamplasan, together with the United States Department of Agriculture, held a cooking demo in the South and made family cooking part of its Urban Lifestyle Series. This is an initiative of Community Innovations to encourage urban achievers to take time off from work and enjoy the lifestyles that they deserve.
Chef Jill Sandique, one of the countrys celebrated chefs, shared her culinary expertise with both parents and kids for a complete palatable treat. Chef Jill made dishes like Crudités, Penne with Tomato Basil Sauce and Panna Cotta more family-and novice-friendly with her practical tips.
"When you want to cook something special for your family, it doesnt have to be complicated," says Chef Jill. She shared guidelines on food preparationfrom the simple proper hand washing technique to the secret in sautéing and cooking various dishes.
