Earth+Style launches P3.5-B project

Property developer Earth+Style Corp. officially launched on Oct. 12 the Jubilation New Biñan, a township development project being put up within a sprawling 154-hectare property in Mamplasan, Biñan.

Victor H. Manarang, president and CEO, said the company is investing P3.5 billion into the master planned project.

The development will help transform the once-agricultural municipality into a world-class urban destination. The launching was highlighted with the inauguration of the Mampalasan access road led by Laguna Gov. Ningning Lazaro and Rep. Uliran Joaquin.

The Mampalasan access road connects the South Luzon Expressway to the town proper of Biñan, traversing through the Jubilation New Biñan. The project will have commercial, industrial, residential, educational and institutional components.

The housing units will cater to the broad middle income-class dwellers in four different phases. Development of the project will be in a span of four to five years.

Biñan is home to industrial parks such as the Laguna Technopark, the Laguna International Industrial Park and the Mampalasan development zone where Earth Style has land acquisition.

The access road will be formally opened to private and selected public motorists. It is anticipated that this will eventually be the preffered entry point to and from Biñan, as opposed to the traffic-prone Carmona exit, thus boosting Biñan’s rapid growth and development.

Mampalasan, one of the 24 barangays of Binan, is envisioned by property planners as the next urban growth destination owing to its proximity to Laguna’s industrial hubs, where more than 200,000 jobs are available. Aside from Jubilation New Biñan, pharmaceutical company United Laboratories and Brentville International School are also locators at Mampalasan. The area is also accessible to the Makati and Ortigas central business districts. With the access road, ot will take Biñan residents only 30 minutes to reach Makati and 45 minutes to Ortigas via the Mampalasan Interchange.
