MANILA, Philippines - Teleperformance, a leading provider of outsourced customer relation management (CRM) and contact center services, has opened a new space that aims to boost its recruitment in the Philippines.

In an interview with The Star, Jeffrey Johnson, vice-president for Human Capital Resource Management said the new recruitment hub was built to serve more applicants and provide them with a pleasant experience as they explore their career prospects with the company.

“We want our applicants to be comfortable and we want them to enjoy the experience,” Johnson said.

Johnson also said the launch of the new site is part of the company’s 16th year in the Philippines and is a testament to how the company is firmly committed to providing competitive, as well as rewarding employment opportunities to job seekers.

The 800-square meter space located at the second floor of the Greenfield Pavilion Mall along United street corner Edsa, is complete with a spacious applicant lounge, interview rooms, testing areas, training rooms and an Internet café. It exudes an aura of a hip and dynamic yet at the same time professional office space.

Johnson said the new site is strategically located in the Manila Metropolitan area and is highly accessible via MRT, bus and jeepney.

Johnson said the launch of the new hub is a testament to the company’s bullish prospects for the contact center industry in the Philippines. He said the company is looking at building additional three to four sites within the next five years and at least one or two sites in 2013.

“We’re very competitive as well. We’re seeing a lot of growth in 2013. We are expanding in Metro Manila and in the provinces,” Johnson said.

Teleperformance began operations in the Philippines in 1996 and has grown to become a major offshore contact center outsourcing option.

It currently operates more than 10,500 workstations from nine contact centers located in and around Manila, Bacolod City and Cebu, the company said.

Teleperformance Philippines is part of the Teleperformance Group, the world’s leading provider of outsourced CRM and contact center services. It serves companies around the world with customer acquisition, customer care and technical support.

It operates 98,000 workstations with more than 135,000 full-time equivalent employees across 250 contact centers in 49 countries, the company said.
