Out of Zambia

A high level diplomatic dinner was recently held to celebrate the National Day of Zambia in honor of the Philippine Delegation to South Africa hosted by Zambia consul Louie Ablaza and his wife Guatemala consul Mellie Ablaza at their stately residence in Forbes Park. Everyone, including South African ambassador Pieter Vermeulen and wife madame Chrisna, had a lovely time exchanging pleasantries while enjoying the roast duck salad, the passion fruit sorbet, the medallion of ostrich tenderloin and the pan fried lemon sole fillet prepared by excellent chef, Jessie Sincioco of Le Souffle. An exhilarating Bangkok adventure

Every year, the fun-loving and generous Minerva Tanseco treats her only sibling Beng Fores to an exciting “bonding” trip abroad. Recently, this annual tradition of family bonding and new discoveries was made memorable as friends joined them to a thrilling journey to Bangkok, Thailand. From the most unusual Hoi-Poloi bargain sights to the ritziest 5-star hotspots and favorites of the rich and famous, the group truly enjoyed the highs and lows of this exotic land. Filled with so much fun, laughter, and learning, the Thai adventure was indeed a trip to remember!

Celebrating United Nations Day

The Inner Wheel Club of Manila led by president Lita Goño, recently held a very successful jam-packed United Nations Day celebration hosted by Congresswoman Cynthia Villar at the Laurel mansion in Mandaluyong City.
