MMDA nagbabala sa scam gamit ang NCAP violations

MANILA, Philippines — Nagbabala ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) sa mga motorista laban sa mga scammer na nagpapanggap na bahagi ng No Contact Apprehension Program (NCAP) at gumagamit ng pekeng website at payment channels upang makakuha ng pera at sensitibong impormas­yon.

Ayon kay MMDA Chairperson Don Artes, maaaring malin­lang ang mga motorista at maibigay ang kanilang one-time passwords (OTPs) sa pekeng NCAP websites. Nagsampa na ng reklamo ang MMDA sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at nakipag-ugnayan sa DICT at Cybercrime Investigation and Coordination Center (CICC) para matugunan ang scam.

Pinayuhan ng MMDA ang mga motorista na huwag mag-click sa mga link na ipinapadala sa text at i-check lamang ang NCAP violations sa official online platforms ng mga LGU. Maaari ding gamitin para sa MMDA violations ang eGovPH app at online NCAP services ng ahensiya.
