MANILA, Philippines — Phinma Properties, the residential arm of the Phinma Group, has launched Saludad, its first masterplanned township in Bacolod City, developed in partnership with local firm JEPP Real Estate Co. and designed by Royal Pineda+.

Unlike typical developments patterned after Metro Manila’s model, Saludad was created to reflect Bacolod’s culture and aspirations while embracing modern, community-centered living.

“Bacolod has always been a city with a strong sense of identity and community. We didn’t want to simply bring in a template. We wanted to listen and collaborate with Bacolodnons so that Saludad truly reflects the culture, aspirations, and everyday life of the people who will call it home,” Phinma Properties president and CEO Raphael Felix said.

Saludad will feature Maayo Terraces, a mid-rise condominium enclave for families and professionals, and Likha Estates, a lot-only residential community for those who want to build homes that grow with every generation.

The township will also include Southwestern University Phinma and Phinma Hospitality’s TRYP by Wyndham Hotel, creating an integrated destination for learning, lifestyle and leisure.

Its walkable town center and retail district will showcase homegrown cafés, artisan shops, and local brands, giving Bacolod entrepreneurs and returning residents a platform to expand their ventures within the community.

Bacolod’s growing economy, supported by a strong middle class, rising remittances and increasing investor confidence, provides fertile ground for developments like Saludad.

“Saludad is a homegrown story,” Felix said. “It reflects Bacolod’s culture, crafted with the input of its people, and made stronger by the synergy of the Phinma Group.”

Saludad underscores Phinma Properties’ shift toward building complete, masterplanned communities that nurture local pride, promote inclusive growth and carry Bacolod’s distinct identity into the future.
