SPAVI brings Potato Corner to Taiwan

MANILA, Philippines —  Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI) has opened the first Potato Corner store in Taiwan in partnership with the Fujin Tree Group.

Taiwan marks the 16th overseas market for Potato Corner, which SPAVI acquired in 2022.

SPAVI has scaled up Potato Corner’s presence in key international markets since acquiring the popular flavored fries brand, with 2,345 global stores at present.

“It’s always a proud moment to bring our beloved brand to new international shores. Potato Corner’s debut in Taipei is a milestone not just for our flavored fries, but for our group vision of wowing more guests around the world,” SPAVI president and CEO Vicente Gregorio said.

Taiwan’s Fujin Tree Group is a lifestyle and food and beverage operator with over a decade of international experience.

It operates 15 distinguished brands, including a Michelin-star restaurant within its globally acclaimed portfolio of franchises.

Potato Corner’s entry into Taiwan signals the start of its partnership with the group.
