SGV appoints new country managing partner

MANILA, Philippines — SGV & Co., the largest professional services firm in the Philippines, has appointed Rossana Fajardo to succeed Wilson Tan as country managing partner, effective on July 1. 2025.

In her new role, Fajardo will spearhead SGV’s strategy for achieving transformational and sustainable growth, focusing on revenue enhancement, operational excellence and client delivery.

Fajardo joined SGV in 1988 and was admitted to the partnership in 2001. Over the course of her career, she has served in various SGV and EY leadership positions including SGV consulting leader, EY Asean business consulting leader, SGV IT risk and assurance leader, SGV performance improvement leader, EY Asean advisory quality leader and EY Asean advisory chief operations officer.

Fajardo has extensive experience in business and digital transformation, technology risk, risk transformation, finance transformation, customer and growth and organizational change, serving local and international clients in the telecommunications, media and entertainment, technology, power and utilities, retail, manufacturing, financial services, business process outsourcing, global shared services, and government and public service sectors.

She is also a strong advocate for women in leadership and an active member of EY Women in Technology. She also spearheads the Philippine EY STEM Girls program, which seeks to create awareness and promote STEM careers to girls aged 11 to 18.

She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, Major in Accounting from the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City. She completed the Executive MBA Program of the Asian Institute of Management, the Ernst & Young Kellogg Account Leadership Program of the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University in Illinois, USA, and the London Business School Account Leader Program in the UK. She is a certified public accountant, certified information systems auditor, certified information systems manager, certified fraud examiner and is certified in risk and information systems control.
