AC Logistics names new CEO
MANILA, Philippines — AC Logistics, a subsidiary of Ayala Corp., has appointed a former Maersk executive as its new chief executive officer.
Ayala, in a stock exchange filing, said Erry Hardianto will assume the role of AC Logistics CEO starting July 1, 2024.
His predecessor, Jose Rene Almendras, meanwhile, will continue to guide Ayala’s public affairs group.
Ayala said Hardianto worked for Maersk for 23 years and held senior positions in the company’s operations in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Prior to joining AC Logistics, he was Asia-Pacific regional logistics operations head of Maersk.
Ayala said Hardianto has successfully managed, grown, acquired and transformed complex multicountry logistics operations across Asia.
AC Logistics was created to serve as Ayala’s vehicle for investments in the logistics sector.
The Ayala group’s logistics journey commenced in 2018, when it launched Entrego Fulfillment Solutions Inc.
It has since expanded from last mile delivery to domestic freight forwarding, contract logistics, and warehouse operations.
