MANILA, Philippines — Cleanfuel has expanded its presence in South Luzon with the opening of a new retail station targeted to address the fuel requirements of the growing commercial business of Batangas City.

Cleanfuel said the new 2,200-square-meter station in Soro-Soro is intended to accommodate private trucks and large commercial vehicles, while serving as the fuel hub for the community in Batangas City.

The station will provide better access to travelers going to the Batangas Port area, Southern Tagalog Arterial Road and the South Luzon Expressway Calamba Interlink.

Cleanfuel said it has also constructed huge warehouse facilities at the back of the station to cater to the needs of importers and commercial enterprises using the Batangas port.

“We are proud to inaugurate our new station in Soro-Soro to accommodate our loyal patrons in the southernmost part of Batangas,” Cleanfuel president and CEO Jesus Suntay said.

“Batangas City is a fast-growing market in the Calabarzon region; aside from being a highly urbanized city, it also now hosts logistic services, from shipping lines to logistic support services. This is an excellent opportunity for us to provide the fuel requirements of these companies,” he said.

Other Cleanfuel stations in Batangas are located in Balayan, Lipa, Lemery, Calaca, Bauan and Ibaan.

Cleanfuel is targeting thriving areas poised for further growth for its expansion.

The company is one of the country’s pioneers in using cleaner and cheaper alternatives to gasoline.

“As an independent fuel player with goals of being a top-of-mind choice for savvy motorists, Cleanfuel is committed to delivering top-notch fuels that are efficient, clean-burning, and meet the highest industry standards,” Suntay said.
