FWD raises the bar for financial advisors

MANILA, Philippines — FWD Life Insurance is now recruiting a new batch of candidates for its Elite Next Gen program, a two-year full-time program that nurtures top-notch financial agency leaders. The program aims to develop a new generation of FWD insurance professionals to help secure the financial future of Filipinos.

The program aims to build the most productive, professional, and digitally connected advisory team in the Philippines. Its flexible, field-tested system will equip aspiring FWD financial advisors with all the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers.

The FWD Elite Next Gen program offers best-in-class training led by FWD’s experienced agency professionals, who will empower young talents to smoothly transition from being employed to becoming insurepreneurs. FWD will provide them with rigorous training and development comprised of both theoretical and practical training, mastery of selling and salesmanship, mastery of recruitment, agency building, and mega agency management – supported by leading technology platforms in the industry.

“As the insurance landscape evolves, the industry requires a competent system in agency building to elevate the skills of financial services professionals. Through the FWD Elite Next Gen program, we are training new advisors to help secure Filipinos’ financial future while empowering our customers to celebrate living,” said FWD Philippines president and CEO Li Hao Zhuang.

The Elite Next Gen has enabled candidates to rise above their ranks and put them in a better position to elevate financial advisory in the Philippines. “In Elite Next Gen, we take the nobility of the insurance business to the highest level. From mission and execution, we escalate it to greater heights on a daily basis,” said Emil Lim, financial wealth manager from the pilot batch of Elite Next Gen program.

“We envision the next generation of FWD financial wealth managers to be the lifetime partners of our customers, providing needs-based solutions and delivering outstanding services at all times. FWD Elite Next Gen program sharpens their skills through FWD’s advanced digital tools and equipment,” said FWD Phl chief agency officer Jun Marasigan.

In addition to the training, participants will also receive competitive compensation and incentives, including a health maintenance organization (HMO) plan and group life insurance. They will also have the opportunity to train at INSEAD, one of the world’s leading and largest graduate business schools, and learn fundamental skills in leadership and entrepreneurial strength.

Headed by David Silayan, FWD PH Elite Next Gen director, the program will support the aim of changing the way people feel about insurance. With the premier agency program, FWD aims to produce 1,000 elite groups of financial advisors by 2024.
