LIST: Canceled flights for September 26 amid 'Karding' rains
MANILA, Philippines (Updated 2:10 p.m.) — Airport officials announced the cancellation of two international flights and 39 domestic flights for the rest of Monday, September 26 due to bad weather caused by the Typhoon Karding.
Per an early morning advisory by the Manila International Airport Authority, which has jurisdiction over the four terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the following flights have been canceled:

Operations seen returning to normal
Apart from the 41 cancelled flights today, the MIAA said it expects flight operations to normalize within the day as Typhoon "Karding" continues to move further away from Luzon per the latest bulletin issued by state weather bureau Pagasa.
In a meeting with airline operators, the MIAA some said they opted for planned delays instead of cancelling flights. A maximum of two-hour delay from the standard time of arrival and departure was observed. All these flights have arrived and departed NAIA as of 6 a.m. today.
"We are thankful that our preparations led to uninterrupted airport operations save for a few flight cancellations. No reports of power and water interruption as well as injury or damage to people and property was received," said general manager Cesar Chiong.
Inside the four NAIA Terminals, passengers who opted to stay in the airport for the resumption of normal flight operations were assisted with their needs. Affected passengers were also rebooked to later flights within the day.
Supply kits and free water distributed to passengers, and there were no reports of "observable passenger build-up" inside check-in halls as they have been informed early by the airlines about the status of their flights.
The engineering and operations teams of the MIAA conducted early morning clearing operations at the airside and landside areas of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
"A few trees along roads leading to NAIA gave way but no damage to property was reported. Maintenance personnel as of press time continue sweeping at landside pavements of leaves and other trash," the MIAA's statement read.
"Runways and taxiways were checked for any foreign object debris. The debris can be any external hazard such as small bolts or equipment part blown to the airside pavement by very strong winds and which if picked up plane engines can lead to damage to aircraft or other serious safety concerns."
