Want an Apple? New York-based firm lets Pinoys get first crack
MANILA, Philippines - A New York-based e-commerce company is providing Filipinos an opportunity to get their hands on new Apple products even before their release in the Philippines.
In a statement, Big Apple Buddy said Apple fans in the Philippines can now start ordering the Apple Watch through the e-commerce firm.
Customers can get the Apple Watch in as little as a week, as Big Apple Buddy has partnered with reliable shipping carriers Fedex, UPS and DHL.
As for other new Apple products such as the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Pro, Filipino consumers can put their name on the wait list through Big Apple Buddy and get notified as soon as the products begin shipping in the US.
Apple Watch is currently available only in 24 nations, excluding the Philippines.
Apple’s new products iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Pro, meanwhile, would initially be released in 12 countries.
The release date for the Philippines has yet to be announced.
Big Apple Buddy was formed with the aim of bridging the gap in international shopping, giving a chance to anyone in the world to purchase latest tech gadgets directly from the US, including the latest Apple products.
