MANILA, Philippines - In a landmark move, 376 rank-and-file employees of the Victorias Milling Co. pursued accreditation from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda).
The loyal men and women of VMC’s workforce aspired for this accreditation as a way to gain recognition for their competence and skill, as well as to give credit and prestige back to VMC as their employer.
Proud of the trademark of excellence they’ve garnered for their dedicated work, VMC’s entire workforce ensure that all of their manufactured products and all of their rendered services pass the strict standards of quality of the company and are deserving of the VMC seal.
Since 2014, all 376 employees who endeavored for recognition have received accreditation based on competence and skills duly assessed by Tesda.
All 376 employees received company-based assessments conducted internally by certified assessors of the company, all of whom have also been duly trained and accredited by Tesda.
Forming an integral part of VMC’s long term plans for growth and expansion, the accreditation by Tesda serves to fulfill the company’s goal of having a workforce that is both highly competent and highly skilled.
