DTSI, Reed Elsevier to expand presence in next wave cities
MANILA, Philippines - Diversified Technology Solutions Internationals Inc., (DTSI) Group, a pioneer business enabler of end-to-end solutions to global companies, and Reed Elsevier (RE) Philippines, a leading global provider of professional information solutions in the science, medical, legal, risk management and business sectors have formed a partnership to further expand their respective organizations’ business process outsourcing services in the Philippines.
The recently launched Reed Elsevier Iloilo site will be tapping into the highly skilled talent pool of the Ilonggos to provide technological, back-end, and customer service support to Reed Elsevier’s customers around the world. The Iloilo site is the second business arm established by DTSI for Reed Elsevier. It also laid the groundwork and built Reed Elsevier’s Manila office in 2010. This partnership continues to further the major roles that both companies play in developing the BPO industry in the Philippines which as of last estimates is expected to contribute $18.3 billion in revenues to the economy in 2014 and for the past ten years has created a million jobs for Filipinos.

Other next-wave cities with a great talent pool and which are investor-friendly are joining their ranks, and we are proud of the part that we play in their growth as well.”
Reed Elsevier managing director Eric Roberts expressed his confidence that the Iloilo office will enjoy the same kind of success of its Manila counterpart. “Reed Elsevier selected Iloilo for our second site for many reasons,” he said. “Among them are extensive government support; a number of high-quality universities that continue to develop smart, driven, future employees; and the Ilonggos themselves who are known for their work ethic, passion for work, and positive attitude
