MANILA, Philippines - The peso rallied against the dollar on Wednesday, closing at 44.715 from the previous day's 44.775.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $387.65 million, higher than the $220.35 million posted on Tuesday.
The peso opened midweek at 44.74.
