GMA Network bares executive promotions
MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network announced recently recently the promotion of several executives.
Elvis B. Ancheta was appointed senior vice president and Head of the engineering Group. Ancheta is credited with implementing the top-grade VHF television transmitters of GMA and QTV (now GNTV) in Mega Manila in 2005 as well as leading the realization of the Network’s superior signal quality and wider reach in numerous regions and provinces in the country.
Jay V. Fuentes was promoted to first vice president and head of content management and on-air systems department, bringing 20 years of digital broadcast experience to his new position.
Paul P. Ticzon was named vice president and head of operations for post production. As the new VP for post production, he will continue to lead and oversee all long-form, short-form and digital requirements of the network across all platforms (local, international and beyond TV).
Angela Javier-Cruz, was promoted to vice president and head of corporate communications. An experienced public relations practitioner, she is responsible for managing all PR and publicity initiatives of the network.
Amerigo L. Santos, was promoted to senior AVP and division head of regional transmission and operations division, while maintaining his post as concurrent head of broadcast engineering services division.
Rolando G. Sanico, Jr. was promoted to senior AVP, subsidiaries financial accounting and systems division (finance department), while Jose S. Toledo was promoted to senior AVP, budget and payroll division (finance department). Venus E. Bartolabac, was promoted to senior AVP, national/mega Manila TV programming research division research department.
Also promoted to AVP positions were Lino R. Coloma division head of electronic field production, production engineering department), Jeffry Q. Evangelista division head of studio operations, production engineering department) and Hasmin A. Marable marketingc, program support department).
