STI on course to open 11th academic center
MANILA, Philippines - STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. is on course to open its 11th academic center in the country, the Tanco-led education firm told the local bourse yesterday.
STI said it recently held a topping off ceremony for its newest academic center located in Lucena City, Quezon province.
The facility’s completion is in time for school year 2015-2016, the firm said.
STI Academic Center Lucena is four-story facility which can accommodate more than 4,000 senior high school and college students.
“The completion of the new academic center in Lucena seals another positive outlook both for our future students, and for the whole STI community,” said Monico V. Jacob, STI Education Services Group Inc. president and chief executive officer.
STI Academic Center Lucena follows the successful operations of STI Academic Centers in Global City, Naga, Fairview, Alabang, Novaliches, Malolos, Ortigas-Cainta, Caloocan, Calamba, and Cubao
“STI has delivered its part in delivering quality education to the city of Lucena, and I am optimistic that we can keep up with this movement to lay more foundations of prime hubs of academic excellence in the country,” Jacob said.
The listed education firm said the facility, which has a floor area of 4,347 square meters, was made to provide a conducive learning environment for students in the province through fully air-conditioned classrooms and complete educational amenities.
“STI Academic Center Lucena is proud to be one of the pioneer institutions in the province to be given a permit by the Department of Education to offer the senior high school program as early as school year 2014-2015. This is STI’s nationwide support to the DepEd’s thrust of developing holistic Filipino graduates,” the company added.
