Toshiba to introduce new laptops

MANILA, Philippines - Toshiba, a leading technology developer, is bringing in several new laptops to the Philippine market, a company official announced.

Wong Wai Meng, senior manager of Product Marketing at Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, Digital Products & Services Group, said the new laptops would give users the power and versatility to do more with the new computers.

“These new laptops are designed to give users the power and versatility to do more with their laptop,” she said, adding that the laptops would provide the ultimate audio and visual experience for movies, games and other programs.

The New Satellite L Series (14.0” Satellite L40 and the 15.6” Satellite L50/L50D) for instance, have an extensive range of multimedia features and design options.

According to data from the company, the Satellite L Series offer versatile performance, modern styling and entertainment-focused features.

The Satellite L series make it ideal for users who want a stylish laptop for work and entertainment as the laptops come in glossy finish in satin gold or black.

“The Satellite L series comes fitted with a frameless tile keyboard and a large clickpad that is enhanced by a new keycap design, for improved tactile feedback while typing, so users can be more productive in the home or on the go,” Toshiba said.

Another product line is the New Satellite P50 Series, which is ideal for visual creative professionals and multimedia enthusiasts because of its “4K Ultra HD display panel.”

“Media creators have been unable to have this combination of performance and display capabilities in a mobile solution and we applied years of experience and engineering resources to make it a reality,” said Meng.

The Satellite P50 series features a powerful Intel® 4th generation i7 Quad-Core processor that takes on even the most demanding tasks with ease – even when multiple applications are running at the same time, she said.

This is ideal for creating and viewing large media files.

The Satellite C series, meanwhile, include the all-new slim and affordable 14.0” Satellite C40/C40D and the 15.6” Satellite C50.
