Peso dips on Friday

MANILA, Philippines - The peso dipped against the dollar on Friday, closing the week at 44.13 from the previous day's 44.08.

Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $1.38 million, higher than the $1.33 million posted on Thursday.

The peso opened Friday at 44.13.
