Wharton to hold MBA admissions reception

MANILA, Philippines - The Wharton-Penn Alumni Association of the Philippines Inc. will hold the 2014 Wharton MBA admissions reception on July 17, 6 p.m. at the BDO Head Office, 2/F North Tower Antonio Molina Hall, BDO Corporate Center, 7899 Makati Avenue (corner H.V. dela Costa Street), Makati City.

The forum will provide perspectives on the distinct qualities of earning an MBA degree from Wharton, life at Wharton and Penn, admissions procedures, and the chance to hear from members of the Wharton-Penn community from a variety of fields such as entrepreneurship, corporate strategy, finance, retail, development, and start-ups.

Featured Wharton-Penn alumni include Nestor Tan (president, BDO Unibank), Mike Driver (private sector investment specialist, ADB) Haydee Go (VP, Super Trade Machineries Global Inc.), Johan Go (COO, Ever Supermarkets), Ian Monsod (VP and group head of business development), TV5), Raymond Ravelo (VP, Meralco and president and CEO, Radius Telecommunications, Rebecca Ricalde (head of marketing, AyosDito.ph), Nancy Roxas (director, Bank of Singapore), and Peter Tan-chi Jr. (CFO, Axeia Development.
