New ICTSI concession

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Victorian International Container Terminal Ltd. (VICTL), a unit of International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI), has won the 26-year concession to develop and operate Melbourne’s third international container terminal at Webb Dock at the Port of Melbourne. The project will deliver a global standard in modern container terminal design, innovation and operations, and will become the flagship facility in Australia’s premier port. It marks ICTSI’s entry into Australia, and further extends ICTSI’s portfolio of managed ports to 30 terminals across six continents. Photo shows Christian R. Gonzalez, ICTSI head of Asia-Pacific Region (far right) explaining VICTL’s planned innovations to David Hodgett (3rd from left), Government of Victoria Minister of Ports and Major Projects.  Looking on are Nick Easy (far left), Port of Melbourne Corp. chief executive officer, and Capt. Richard Setchell, Anglo Ports chairman.
