MANILA, Philippines - The peso settled at 44.884 against the dollar midday Tuesday, moving flat from the 44.84 posted the previous day.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $399.6 million in the morning, higher than the $286.7 million posted the same period on Monday.
The peso opened Tuesday at 44.85.
