MS&Co names new audit partners

MANILA, Philippines - Manabat Sanagustin & Co. (MS&Co.), the Philippine member firm of KPMG International, announces the admission to the partnership of Darwin P. Virocel and Dindo Marco M. Dioso, both of whom are with the firm’s audit division.

 â€œThe contributions of Mr. Virocel and Mr. Dioso have been remarkable since they joined the firm. We believe that with their diverse audit experience and high level of commitment to our clients in assuming their new roles as partners will further drive the firm’s growth and success,” said Roberto Manabat, chairman and CEO of MS&Co. Their appointment took effect this October.

 Virocel has over 16 years of experience in financial statement audit, risk management; design of internal control system and due diligence reviews of various companies in diverse industries such as mining, energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, service, retail and consumer, technology and business process outsourcing. He has a broad knowledge and experience in both IFRS and US GAAP audit and review engagements and in the resolution of complex financial reporting and audit issues. He is also an experienced trainer on PFRS/IFRS.

Dioso has been in the public accounting practice for almost 16 years. He has handled audit engagements and financial audits in financial services, BPO and manufacturing industries. Dindo placed seventh in the 1997 CPA examinations. He attended the Executive MBA program in the Asian Institute of Management.  He is also a CPA in the state of California, USA.
