Equicom offers usage rewards

MANILA, Philippines - A special Christmas gift awaits new Equicom credit cardholders through an attractive offer that grants a cash reward for the early activation of their credit cards. Through the offer, new Equicom credit cardholders whose cards are issued from Oct. 18 until Jan. 31, 2011 will earn a one-time rebate of P300 for a single or accumulated usage of at least P8,000 through their Equicom credit cards within 60 days from their dates of issue.

All posted retail and installment transactions will qualify for the rebate, while cash advances, balance transfers, finance charges, annual fees and other fees and charges are excluded.

The P300 rebate amount shall be credited to the cardholder’s Equicom credit card account one month after the end of the promotion for as long as the account remains active and not cancelled or suspended.

The initial usage of P8,000 is also eligible to earn rewards points which are converted into cash and credited to the Equicom Rewards Card that can be used for shopping at all VISA establishments worldwide.
