MANILA, Philippines - Chemsearch Philippines, a division of Texas-based NCH Corporation that provides cleaning and maintenance solutions to firms and industries, launched a new website that will revolutionize the way it does business with its clients and the general public.
The new website can take direct orders from clients to accelerate business transactions and also answer maintenance and repair questions from internet browsers. It is the first maintenance based knowledge portal, with questions about maintenance, cleaning and other industrial concerns answered by The Maintenance Doctor.
The new website will provide industries and the general public with answers to any question they may have about drain and water maintenance, industrial cleaning solutions, special concerns like lubrication, degreasing, fuel additives or electrical cleaners; floor care, carpet care, sanitation; insect control as well as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. The question can be as basic as how to clean out flood water residue from one’s basement to finding bio augmentation technologies to reduce grease build up in grease traps and keep drain lines free of accumulation.
Chemsearch marketing manager Vanessa Tan said the website was developed primarily for Chemsearch customers. “It is our way of providing added service to customers so they can avoid the hassle and inconvenience of placing and waiting for orders. Now they can browse through our products, get detailed product information and order at their own pace and time. Our global company’s hub of operations is based in the US, but through chemsearch.ph, local customers can order from a locally based company and get sales and technical support from a company that enjoys global support. Currently only international companies have e-commerce capabilities but they don’t deliver to the Philippines. Or online representation could be very shady so it can be risky to buy online. Chemsearch.-ph is the online face of a company that’s been in business for 90 years. So quality, trust and convenience are finally at hand,” Tan said.
The Philippines is the first country in the NCH global network to launch an e-commerce website where products can be sold online. All products in the website have video demos to show how the products work. Visitors can access technical data, see live action, post queries and get instant answers from the company’s wide database of solutions.
Tan added that the website also functions as an effective sales tool where Chemsearch sales people can build their business. “The website functions like a personal site for our sales people and allows them to track down orders. In effect, it allows them to be there with their customers at all times.”
The Chemsearch website allows visitors to access Chemsearch’s service maintenance programs, request and browse available seminars, find out about lab services, promotional offers, special technologies like the Chemsearch BioAmp system, and the company’s Green initiatives, among others.
Also featured in the website are customer support systems, discussion groups, company programs and initiatives, product categories and career opportunities in the company. Soon the website will function like a “Wiki” for all maintenance questions and concerns.
