Camella Tarlac - Spiced. and everything Nice!

-

MANILA, Philippines - Tarlac, with a population of 859,222, is the most multicultural of the Central Luzon provinces. Four district ethnic groups – the Pampango, Ilocano, Pangasinense, and Tagalog – share a life of peace and harmony in the province best known for its vast sugar and rice plantations. The last province to be organized under the Spanish Regime in 1874 and known for its fine, local cuisine, Tarlac is home to excellent ethnic and artisanal cooking. Truly the “melting pot of Central Luzon,” its heritage of good food had been culled from its early settlers’ varied places of ancestry: the provinces of Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Pangasinan, and the Ilocos region. Today, local restaurants abound, with historical sites, vast plantations, and a beautifully landscaped golf course adding to its long list of attractions that make Tarlac one of the best places to stay in Central Luzon.

Although agriculture remains the province’s primary economic activity, Tarlac is rapidly building its industrial sector due to the presence of special economic zones in the area and its proximity to growth centers – invigorating new businesses and emerging industries to settle there and take root. It also sits practically next door to the international airport at the Clark Special Economic Zone with access roads to other commercial centers such as Dagupan and Baguio, further enhancing Tarlac’s accessibility.

Along with its thriving industrial estates, increasing trade investments and a flourishing string of micro-economic activities, such as food processing, handicrafts, furniture, gifts and toys manufacturing, continue to energize the whole province making it an attractive residential hub for young, working Filipinos and their families. Located only 89 kilometers north of the National Capital Region, Tarlac is linked by a fine network of roads to the main artery, the North Luzon Expressway. With Manila only one and a half hours away and Subic Bay airport and seaport only two hours away, the province has also become a practical “residence of choice” for balikbayans, returning OFWs, local and foreign retirees, as well as, expats and investors who have realized Tarlac’s immense potential. The influx of these new “settlers” have indeed refreshed Central Luzon’s “melting pot.” New communities have emerged propped up by the buoyed up local economy, revitalizing businesses that, in turn, help sustain employment and support more businesses – the “spice” of victory, these are just some of the ingredients that signify a true, hometown success.

It didn’t take long for Camella, the country’s leader in real estate development, to recognize the growth potential of Tarlac. And today marks the launch of Camella Tarlac, a 61-hectare community development located close to MacArthur Highway and the techno parks. A Spanish-inspired, master-planned enclave of nicely-appointed yet, affordable homes that feature world-class facilities and amenities.   Harnessing its legendary real estate experience of over 30 years, Camella Tarlac is one more precious link in Camella’s chain of communities that is spanning the country – in 19 provinces, 44 cities and municipalities, in Metro Manila and the regions – with plans to expand in other growth areas, in emerging cities and thriving municipalities across the countryside.

A pioneering name in the country’s real estate history, Camella, as shown and felt in every community it has built, has become remarkably iconic. The seamless combination of master-planning expertise and adherence to a tradition of quality is evident in every Camella landscape’s blueprint; the concern for value and affordability quite unmistakable in every Camella model home.   That painstaking commitment, that mission of excellence is Camella’s ‘Mark of Quality’– promoting wholesome work and life balance, healthy family and community living, in a setting that is traditionally pinoy yet imbued with world-class standards.

Here in Tarlac, one is never far away from all things important–Camella Tarlac’s future residents and homeowners can look forward to a stable work and leisure environment, allowing for an engaged, active “hometown” lifestyle that is still quaint and time-honored, yet refreshing and contemporary. In culinary parlance, it would equate to... something quite delicious... with just the right hint of spice.
