Apo Floors meets international standards

MANILA, Philippines - Apo Floors is the only Philippine-made vinyl floor products meeting standards set by the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM), British Standards (BS) and Japanese International Standards (JIS) among others, according to Boni Manlapig, vice president for sales and marketing of Puyat Flooring Products Inc. (PFPI) manufacturer of Apo Floors. Apo Floor products, says Manlapig, are manufactured using an ISO 9901/2000 certified process by PFPI, a company that prides itself in delivering products that showcase Filipino craftsmanship and meet international standards. Apo Floor products are also exported in various Asian countries. This year, Apo Floors will unveil 19 new designs of vinyl floor products that mimic the look of stone, carpet and wood. Aptly called Mimicri, these new products showcase a wide range of versatile and artistic designs. The Mimicri Wood line offers three types of wood-like floor products that meet various preferences. The “Designer” series is for those who prefer the edgy look of graphite oak, grey wood with silver tinge and aged oak. The “Classic” series showcases light to dark woods in classic hues; while the Comfort series offers casual designs such as bamboo.
