Maximizing tax savings

MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices is holding a two-day seminar entitled, Optimizing Tax Savings and Deductions – The Legal Way on Aug. 6 & 7 at The Edsa Shangri-la, Mandaluyong City.

The program, which is MCLE & CPE-accredited, will feature expert tax practitioner Rosario S. Bernaldo, CPA, MBA. She is the founder and managing partner of law and accounting firms Bernaldo, Directo & Po Office and R.S. Bernaldo & Associates comprising more than 130 accountants and lawyers. She is highly regarded in her field of practice having co-authored the Primer on the National Internal Revenue Code.

Some of her notable academic achievements include having graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of the East and cum laude & class valedictorian in her law degree from the same school. She also ranked number one in her MBA batch at the University of the Philippines. A CPA and a bar topnotcher, she is also a professor of business law and taxation at the Ateneo since 1994.
