QualiBet Crusaders promote safer and better Philippines

Today, Nov. 27, QualiBet Testing Services is recognizing 11 new Crusaders of the Philippines who help make a safer, better Philippines through consumer awareness. The event will be held at The Loft, Manansala, Rockwell, Makati City.

These Crusaders are: Marikina Mayor Marides Fernando, health watch advocates Obet Pagdanganan, actor and politician Edu Manzano, advocates for family healthy lifestyle Anthony and Maricel Pangilinan, Dr. Greg and Gina Pastorfide, beauty advocates Carla Sibal, owner of Arce Dairy Priscilla Arce, restaurateur Maritel Nievera, and beauty authority Kristine Gabriel.

Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap, will be the guest speaker and a special award will be given to actress Lorna Tolentino for being the ambassador of the cancer support group.

Cancer survivor and chemist Pinky Tobiano established QualiBet in 2006. With the company name standing for “Quality is Better”, Tobiano has led the crusade by empowering the Filipino consumer to be “aware of the quality of water we use, the generic medicines that are being sold, educating the consumers about the nutritional facts of the food out in the market, and campaigning against transfat.”

With the support of these 11 Crusaders, Tobiano expressed confidence that Filipinos will, indeed, realize what QualiBet stands for.
