ALI residential arm launches 2nd tower in Two Serendra

Alveo Land Corp., a unit of property giant Ayala Land Inc., launched yesterday the second of four towers in the high-rise phase of the Two Serendra project in Bonifacio Global City to meet the robust demand for residential space in the former military complex.

In a press briefing yesterday, Alveo president Dante Abando said the 40-storey second tower named The Red Oak has the development centered on total wellness as part of efforts to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Despite the ongoing economic slowdown brought about by the US subprime crisis, Alveo continues to register steady growth in sales. “Based on current trends, sales are still picking up. We’ve been doing very well,” Abando said.

“Everytime we conceptualize a new community, we always think about the lifestyle needs of our market,” he said.

Abando said the first high-rise tower, The Aston, launched in May last year is already 80 percent sold, boasting of a river boat docked on a splash pool and a bridge leading to a tree house. The project offers a total of 400 units, slated for completion in June 2012.

The Red Oak, on the other hand, will house a total of 520 units, offering studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units priced between P3 million and P14 million.

A studio unit measures between 36-40 square meters while a one-bedroom unit measures 55 square meters, two-bedroom units (85 square meters) and three- bedroom units (110 square meters).

Abando said penthouse units will likewise be offered to the public but didn’t say the selling price.

“While Aston is the gathering spot and recreational place for families and their friends, the Red Oak will be a sanctuary for holistic growth,” he said.

The Red Oak wellness zone will house a central leisure pool with private nooks, jacuzzi, toddler and kiddie pools, sunken deck, pavilions and water fall. It will also feature organic gardens, exercise stations, dance studios and a health bar.
